Client: Seyfarth Shaw
Area m2: 777m²
Address: Level 40, 1 Farrer Place, Sydney 2000
Client Objectives/Brief: The client hadn’t selected a site so they required Strutt to do numerous test fits to help determine which site was most suitable for their functional needs. Additionally, the client, who see themselves as “modern” lawyers were uncertain as to whether they wanted to have more of a traditional office heavy fit out, an open plan office or a combination of both. The test fit process helped determine their chosen path. This determined their objectives and Seyfarth Shaw decided to go ahead with a fit out that had a balanced number of offices and open plan area. They required meeting rooms that had a flexible option of converting into a larger boardroom/training room. Another main objective for the client was to create a communal collaboration kitchen and breakout space for all staff to enjoy.
How were client objectives met/fulfilled? The client objectives were met by doing a series of test fits in various site locations. This process allowed the client to see numerous potential options before selecting their preferred. The brief was met by fulfilling their functional and creative requirements with clever design solutions.
